Good Resource for the Financial Accounting and Reporting Exam
Gleim provides an excellent set of practice of multiple choice questions along with answers and explanations. This will benefit those preparing to pass the Financial Accounting and Reporting exam within the Uniform CPA Examination. My interest in this material is as an additional resource to assist in developing my own multiple choice questions for courses that I teach on financial accounting at the university level.
CPA Exam
I found this study guide very useful in studying for the FAR section of the CPA exam. Although it was published in 2003 I have found that the questions remain current with 2008. The study guide contains additional multiple choice questions that aren't listed in the standard FAR Becker software.
Review of Gleim Financial Accounting Questions & Explanation
Gleim offers a wonderful study guide with the Financial Accounting Exam Questions and Explanations book. A recent college grad, this book was used as a supplementary study aid by my accounting instructors that gives multiple choice type questions with suppoting explanations of both the correct and incorrect answers of recent CPA exam questions. It is a great asset and I plan to use it in preparation of the CPA exam.
