Gotta Love This Stuff
Seriously, you've got to love this kind of humor, to invest in this complete compendium of compulsory confusion. Gary Larson has a unique mind, very creative, very witty, often irreverent, occasionally surreal, sometimes utterly (or udderly) incomprehensible to those not exposed to particular humors, but always a different viewpoint than most people encounter in the real world. This collection reveals the development, from start to finish, of the daily breath of fresh, albeit insane, air which shocked and overturned the world of daily published comics. Highly recommended to anyone who can, with very large grains of salt, follow the daily meanderings of a seriously disturbed individual. Extremely Entertaining!

My 7 yr old son used his Christmas money to purchase this collection. From the moment it arrived he has read it almost every night. They are extrememly heavy books and rather awkward to carry but he does his best to tote them around. He brings them to the table during breakfast, lunch and dinner to share his latest favorite. They have brought hours of enjoyment to my family and even guests who laugh at their favorites through the years.
This is a collection that he will cherish for years and years to come.
It's a well built tome of joy
The greatest thing I own. The books are big and heavy, just so you're aware. There are a large proportion of comics that have never been published before, so even if you've read them all you will enjoy this. And your old favorites are everywhere, in chronological order so you can see when he came up with them.
Also, as a bonus there are angry letters every once in a while from disgruntled Americans =)
