[...]It is very much out of date and appears to be a textbook for a first semester electronics course. Even if I had read this book 10 years ago I would not be happy. It does not mention surface mount devices (they were in use at time of publication in 1986) and goes on at length about very simple subjects like drilling a holes in circuit boards. Don?t waste your money. Amazon has much better books in stock. Review #2 interesting I believe this book is dated although it does have some interesting ideals Review #3 10 Year Old Techniques This book is in need of major updates in almost every way. I would not recommend this book to anyone who has had more that a year or two of experience in the electronics lab environment.
