have bought 3 plant books about bonasi care
and wish they had 1 like bonasi for dummies
that would tell you about the plants that you have
because I have not found 1 yet
Helpful, BUT
This book helped me understand that bonsai is just the 'art' of caring for miniature trees (miniature because you manicure them) and that there is no such thing as a bonsai 'species' of tree. Which means, the book was basically NOT useful in telling me how to care for my unique type of tree. I happened to get a miniature Juniper tree as a gift, so I now need to find a book on how to care for a Juniper. If you are gifting to someone with a green thumb however, they may appreciate the introduction to the art of bonsai and this book is a fairly easy read with pictures.
Very informative
I really like this book. It is detailed enough with lots of pictures that demonstrate how to do what it describes. Very happy with the purchase.
