I've looked at several of Lidian's cookbooks and I like the recipes in this one the best.

Great book..must have on anyone's bookshelf
Lydia is one of the best Italian cooks in the US, and it shows in all of her books. This book is one of the best on Italian-american cooking and is quite usefull. Yes, she does simple things like basic tomato meat sauce..but she does it RIGHT. If you ever have made a dish that is in this book and it was good but not great, this book will show you how to get to that level.
I cannot recommend her books enough to anyone who loves Italian cooking.

Excellent - one of my favorites
This is by far one of my favorite ever cookbooks. Everything is delicious and easy to follow. I have A LOT of cookbooks and I always go back to this because the meal is guaranteed delicioso!!!
