I want to start by saying that I bought this book for my Kindle on Wednesday morning. By Thursday night I was done reading. I was glued to it! I am a Real Estate Agent in New York, so you can understand my eagerness to read a book written by a NY Real Estate legend. Barbara Corcoran describes real-life situations with a healthy dose of humor and optimism. She then draws conclusions and provides good advise on how to run a successful business. Her main advise is: when life gives you lemons, be creative and make lemonade (and then sell it!). Great book.

positive reading
I really loved this book because I am in the startup phase of my company and there is lots of common sense reading in the book to help you know that you can succeed also.

"If You Don't Have Big Breasts, Put Ribbons on Your Pigtails"
This is, by far, my favorite book of all time! When my mother gave this book to me when I was in college, I was at first insulted. "I know I don't have big breasts! Why are you rubbing that in my face?!" was my initial reaction. After reading it, however, I realized that this book was all about learning to work with what you have rather than focusing on what you don't have.(The small breast example is just one very minor part of it, by the way.) I strongly recommend this book to anyone who has ever wanted to see themselves as positive people who can make lemonade out of lemons in every situation in life. A PERFECT book for women in their early 20's trying to figure out who they are in the world.
