Nora Roberts Chesapeake Bay Trilogy is well written. It kept my attention. I could hardly put it down. I would recommend it to anyone who loves a good romance novel.

My favorite Nora Roberts selection
Nora Roberts can always drive home an easy read, interesting plot, and this is a trilogy you won't want to put down. It tells of a couple who adopt 3 boys of varied dysfunctional backgrounds and raise them to be worthwhile, productive individuals with strong love of justice and family. There is now a 4th book to the trilogy about the 4th boy who turns out to be a grandson, and the 3 boys keep their promise to raise this youngster. If you love Maryland and the Eastern Shore, this is very realistic.
