Nancy has written a great book for beginners like myself. Reading this book has helped me to see the mistakes I was making and faster ways of doing things. She starts with naming machine parts and discussing how to clean and maintain the machine. Then she tells how to adjust the machine for the project you are working on.

Not having sewn anything in many years I was looking for a basic guide to brush up my skills. This fit the bill.

Excellent Resource!
New to the world of sewing, I needed a few good books to help me with my new endeavor. I highly reccommend this book for people of all abilities, especially someone like me who is starting out.
