Eye opening
If you are a home brewer without commercial brewing experience that wants to take your brewing to the professional level then this book is a must. This book costs a pretty penny but it will save you money in the long run and open your eyes. This doesn't get into the prices of equipment but as you read you will see that equipment prices are the last of your worrys.
Good book to get started
As has been said previously, there are few pricing details in this book. Not that they would help me in 2004, since this book is getting on in years. Other than that, it's an excellent reference for things you probably aren't thinking about. It takes a realistic approach to the problems a brewer will face and helps the reader to understand the many layers there are in opening their own brewery. It's not just a matter of deciding to do it and start brewing. I think some readers want their hand held through the whole thing, which obviously can't be done. Great book for anyone else.
Save Your Money
Vague, vague and vague. Did I mention there's few specifics in this book? Certainly not worth $80.
