A different, effective approach.
Mike's methods are working well for me. I've seen progress in every workout so far. This is the first program I've encountered that seems scientific in nature. There are no arbitrary amounts of work. Very good.
Brief and effective
I am an experienced lifter with a life outside of the gym. I believe Mike makes a lot of sense, getting in the gym and mindlessly lifting weights will just be a waste of time. Also, people argue about the rest time...but Mike's argument is not to take his word but judge for yourself. Are you improving? No, take a rest or maybe you're lifting too much right off the bat. If you have a family, job, and other commitments then this book is it.

Finally a bodybuilder that gives just the facts on how to gain muscle. No b.s., just scientifically proven methods to reach your full potential.
I wish I would have found this book and Mentzer 15 years ago. Highschool sure would have been different.
Oh well, it's never too late.
I've already made gains and feel better.
